Q. Who are member companies
of the College, and how does a company become a member? |
|
| |
A.
The Criteria for becoming a Member of the College
are:
- The qualification
of a member is its registration under the Insurance
Act of Jamaica for
the purposes specified therein.
- No Person shall be
admitted as a member of the College unless it is first
approved by
the Board, and the Board shall have full discretion
as to the admission of any person
to membership.
- Where any person desires
to be admitted to membership of the College it must
deliver
to the College an application for admission signed
on its behalf and framed in
such terms as the Board shall require.
